Hope Springs Forth was inspired by the hope I felt as 2020 came to a close & the energy seemed to shift to a more positive space.

This is the first of many random Digitakt explorations. For this track, I recorded myself playing my E Low Pygmy Rav Vast drum with my Zoom H4n Pro Handheld mic. I then took those recordings into Logic Pro, where I added a bit of reverb & delay. I then sent those samples to my Digitakt where I played with endless samples to create this generative ambient track.

Finally, I sent the Digitakt back into my Zoom where I then mixed it in Logic.

Hopefully, this music will help you enjoy a few minutes of peace & quiet.
